Houseboat Trip Details

DAY TRIP

Trip start from 10 AM to 4 Pm or 11 AM to 5 PM.
Before start the trip enjoy our welcome drink, then you can enjoy houseboat cruise through enchanting alleppey backwaters and stop for Lunch break ( take lunch break for 1 Hour to 1.30 Hours ), then again start our trip till evening , finish with tea and snacks.

Overnight Trip

Trip timing from 12 Pm to Next Day 9 AM
Trip includes welcome drink, Lunch, Tea and snacks dinner and Breakfast.
Houseboat will Start trip at 12 Noon or depends on the arrival of the guest till 5.30 PM ( in between will take lunch break for 1 hours to 1.30 Hours ). Boat will anchor at 5.30 Pm at lake shore till next day 7.30 AM. after anchor can visit village life, small shops , paddy fields etc or enjoy music, Cable TV, DVD on the boat itself. Ac timings from 9 Pm to Next day 6 AM only in the rooms for Deluxe Bookings, or 12 Noon to Next day 9 AM in Room and Living area for Premium or luxury trips.

Houseboat Instructions

You are in a houseboat with Limited Facilities and Resources. So kindly co-operate with us.
Storage capacity of the water tank is limited and so please do not waste water. Use water only when required. Make sure that the taps are closed after use.
Electricity / AC will be produced only during night (9 pm to 6 am) in Deluxe bookings. Kindly switch off the lights & fans when not required.
Don’t smoke inside the rooms & don’t use chapels inside the boat.
Soft drinks and Beverages will be extra on request before check in time.
Check in time is 12 noon and check out time 9 am for overnight cruises, it may change on different destinations, and can travel 25 nights through different backwater villages.
Management will not be responsible for late arrival of guests.
Houseboat is a movable property, kindly adjust with the timings.
There will be a lunch break nearly 1.5 hours. Average running per day is 5 hours, approx 20 km in normal trip.
The houseboat will be anchored for night stay at 5.30 pm and will continue next day at 8 am. If the cruise is for more than one day the next day trip starts at 10 am. Place of anchoring will be decided by the boat Captain, according to the weather, climate and safety.
Keep the houseboat neat and clean.
Fixed menu will be served on board. In houseboat, food is preparing in South Indian & North Indian style. So you should inform the chef your requirements in advance. (spicy or less spicy)
2 / 3 crew members will be sailing with you. Guide on request if needs.
Please don’t damage the property, pollute the water, play with any electrical & electronic appliances. Don’t make the room dirty. If happens it will be chargeable.
Please always use dustbin, don’t throw sanitary napkins in the bio-toilet.
Consumption of Alcoholic drinks during the cruise by your own risk.
The guest must occupy the bedroom on or before 10 pm for the safety of the guests.
Keep the valuables if any inside the room under lock and key and ensure the safety by bolting the doors and windows properly while sleeping. Footwear will be kept in your room.
Please avoid sitting in the door steps or side rails while sitting in the sit out of the boat.
Any items purchased during the course of cruise will be checked for the quality and quantity.
Don’t try to get into the boat or get out of the boat for fishing or wandering without the knowledge of the crew.
Usage of Iron box, Oven, Kettle etc is not allowable.
Parents must take care of their children and not allow them to move around alone in the boat.
Avoid climbing above the roof of the boat or entering into the driver area for safety purpose.
